Club runs -
- Sunday; From Reading, Berks - meet at 10AM at Palmer Park for 2-3 hours steady riding led by BC coach John Percy
- From the Woking, Farnham, Farnborough, Aldershot areas - club members only. Arrangement via our club forum.
- Ladies only - training days and weekends being planned for club and squad ladies.
Activities - Predominantly racing, but we do have non racing members of ALL STANDARDS at most disciplines. If you do it and we don't, you join us and then we do!
Club History - Formed in November 2004. In our first season we have won more than 10 National and World medals at junior, senior and masters levels across multi disciplines. We're the Surrey League team champions, we won the South East region champs and have certainly left a mark across the South in 2005. We've promoted over 20 open events in our first year and aim to top that in 2006. We've got more than 80 members, many of whom are club 3rd and 4th cat riders who want a team environment and ethic at events and within the club, while watching the squads who they support compete and win.
Any other info - The main misconception about us is that we're just a racing team, which cannot be further from the truth. Just ask any of our club riders. We're always on the look out for more riders, at all levels of ability and experience. Our ethos is simple - you must want to be a team player at whatever level you are at and be willing to put something back into the sport and club throughout each season. You've also got be friendly and proactive with a positive attitude and bags of encouragement and enthusiasm. Remembering where you once was as a novice, and reminding yourself what you didn't get as an introduction to the sport is usually a good place to start!
